Andrew Moore, who is currently dean of Carnegie Mellon’s School of Computer Science, discusses artificial intelligence and robotics.
Prof. Moore is the fifth dean of the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
He received a doctorate in computer science from the University of Cambridge in 1991 and joined the CMU faculty in 1993. In 2005, he was elected a fellow of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence. He severed as the head of Google’s Pittsburgh office from 2006 until 2014.
